Old Believers, on the Russian community in Woodburn, Oregon; and
Ceremonio del Matrimonio, on an Hispanic wedding. She is the author of
Salote: Queen of Paradise. Hixon is an emigre from Portland, Oregon, where she was an instructor of college English.
