A former equestrian business owner and art teacher, Sculptor Jestrabek-Hart's work can be found in galleries in at least seven states; in numerous institutions from banks to ball fields; in museums; parks; race tracks; resorts; and in private collections.

Musician, composer, teacher Slovacek-Mench composed and performed the original album Wakening Heart and has accompanied other musicians in programs and projects. She collaborated with Theresa Koon in the composition and performance of the Chamber Opera Promise - The Life of Camille Claudel. In her studio, Slovacek-Mench teaches piano, guitar, voice, and composition to students of all ages and abilities.

Sculptor, illustrator, painter, gallery owner, teacher, Debra Bevaart carves primarily in stone, many pieces of which are in personal collections and in the Tug Ghum Gallery in the historic Lund Hotel. She painted murals in the guest rooms at the hotel and her illustrations appear in the best seller Fly Fishing British Columbia. Bevaart continues creating and now leads soapstone carving workshops in her studio at the gallery.

Writer, editor, teacher, White has published 3 titles: Chain Chain Change For Black Women in Abusive Relationships; The Black Women's Health Book: Speaking for Ourselves; and the first authorized biography of Pulitzer Prize winner Alice Walker: Alice Walker, a life. Her work appears in many publications including Ms, Smithsonian, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle, and others.

Writer Joan Eaton-Stubbings has had poems published in numerous magazines and reviews, among them Arena Magazine; Luna; Westerly; Hecate Magazine, and Mattoid. In addition to writing, she also spins her own wool for knitting.

Filmmaker, writer, Margaret Hixon has produced two documentary films: Old Believers, on the Russian community in Woodburn, Oregon; and Ceremonio del Matrimonio, on an Hispanic wedding. She is the author of Salote: Queen of Paradise. Hixon is an emigre from Portland, Oregon, where she was an instructor of college English.

Writer Robyn Stone has written and co-authored several screenplays, short stories, and published Sydney, The Harbour City Handbook.

Playwright, director, actor, teacher, Sandra Shotlander's plays have been performed in Australia and the United States. She has been commissioned to write and stage productions for a number of schools and arts centers in Melbourne and nearby areas. She was playwright in residence at James Cook University in 1992.

Jungian Psychotherapist, writer, photographer, Scott has published two books: Songs of Love and Woe, poems and photographs, and Healing with Nature, with photographs. Her work has appeared in a long list of publications including The Forum; Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study; Experience Life Magazine; Psychological Perspectives; The Arts in Psychotherapy: An International Journal; and other psychological and literary journals.

Award-winning public art maker and art educator, Tina Hoggatt creates large pieces and small in glass, tile, metals, paints, and other materials. She has received public and private commissions for permanent works installed in cities; mascots for schools; and pieces for parks, institutions, and private collections.

Painter, teacher Virginia Eluik-Pettman's work hangs in a bank and in other prominent establishments, as well as in many private collections. She takes many of her subjects from nature and her travel as well as of her family and people she has met or imagined. Portraits of her grandchildren speak of her culture.
